Abby Faith Cheeseman, a junior at The Webb School, was named the 2023-24 Gatorade Tennessee Girls Cross Country Player of the Year. She is the first athlete from her school to win the award. Cheeseman took second at the Foot Locker South Region championships and 13th at the Foot Locker nationals. She led her team to the TSSAA Division 2-Class A state championship and has maintained a 4.52 GPA in the classroom.
