A white woman on an airplane was upset to discover she was seated next to a black man. She demanded to the flight attendant that her seat be changed. However, all other economy seats were full. The captain confirmed this. As an unusual exception, the black man was offered a seat in first class instead, to avoid causing a scandal by forcing him to stay next to the unpleasant woman. The other passengers applauded in response to the outcome.
