This document analyzes the determinants of vehicle ownership in Nigeria. Using multiple linear regression analysis of national secondary data, the study found that four socioeconomic factors (gross domestic product, per capita income, fuel price, and literacy level) and one physical factor (stock of public transport vehicles) significantly influence vehicle ownership in Nigeria at the 0.01 significance level.
