About this document

Corrosion Inhibition of Mild Steel by Plant Extracts by SAMSON NEBECHI is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This research article investigates the corrosion inhibition characteristics of Almond and Cocoyam leaves extracts on mild steel in a 1 M H2SO4 environment. The study found that both extracts significantly reduced the corrosion rate, with Almond leaves showing superior inhibition efficiency of 70.15% compared to 56.67% for Cocoyam leaves at an 8 g/L concentration. The results suggest that these plant extracts could serve as eco-friendly alternatives to traditional corrosion inhibitors in industrial applicati
