What is UAV-Enhanced IoT Data Collection in 6G about?

This document presents a dual-mode data transmission strategy for efficient data collection in 6G-enabled remote IoT environments using UAVs and LEO satellites. It introduces a decentralized deep reinforcement learning framework, DRL-Schedule, to optimize energy consumption and data freshness while addressing challenges like limited infrastructure and diverse latency requirements. Simulation results indicate that DRL-Schedule significantly improves energy efficiency compared to existing methods.
