About this document
Pre-Formulation Solubility Study of Praziquantel in Different Media and Solubilizing Agents Using The Saturation Shake-Flask Method by Mediterr J Pharm Pharm Sci is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the solubility of praziquantel, a medication used for treating schistosomiasis, in various media and solubilizing agents using the saturation shake-flask method. Results indicate that the highest solubility was achieved with 0.2% sodium lauryl sulfate, reaching 370.29 µg/ml, while other agents like methanol and tween 80 also enhanced solubility. The findings suggest that surfactants and co-solvents can significantly improve the solubility of poorly soluble drugs like praziquantel, wh
