Can I read Diffraction of conduction electrons from a Cu(4 1 0) surface on EtoBox?

Diffraction of conduction electrons from a Cu(4 1 0) surface by H.F.C. Hoevers; H. van Kempen is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Diffraction of conduction electrons from a Cu(4 1 0) surface about?

Diffraction of conduction electrons is observed using transverse electron focusing. The stepped Cu(4 1 0) surface acts as a reflection grating for the conduction electrons. This results in extra voltage peaks in the focusing spectrum. The magnetic field values at which diffraction peaks are observed can be calculated using a wave character approach for the scattering of electrons at the crystal surface, combined with a semiclassical description of the electron orbits in a magnetic field. We discuss the possibility of a similar experiment with an artificial grating on a semimetal or a two-dimensional electron gas.

Who reads Diffraction of conduction electrons from a Cu(4 1 0) surface?

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Physics and Astronomy.
