What is Factors Influencing HSC Donation in Saudi Arabia about?

This study aimed to identify barriers and motivators to hematopoietic stem cell donation in Saudi Arabia. A survey of 605 participants found that rising medical awareness (59.7%) and increasing donation centers (40.7%) were the top motivators. The largest barrier was fear of medical procedures (44.6%), while small donation centers (36%) and health issues (18%) also prevented donation. To increase donations, the study recommends ongoing public awareness campaigns and expanding access to Saudi Arabia
