What is Bennett 2020 about?

This systematic review examined psychological treatments for PTSD in children and adolescents who experienced child maltreatment. Fifteen randomized controlled trials and five non-randomized controlled clinical trials met inclusion criteria. Trauma-focused CBT remained the best supported treatment, with new evidence that improvements are maintained long-term. Evidence for other therapies was limited and had methodological concerns. The implications for treatment decision-making are discussed.
