Sections 64 to 69 of the Sri Lankan Trusts Ordinance allow beneficiaries to claim trust property that has been wrongfully purchased by a trustee or third party with notice of the trust. However, if a bona fide purchaser for value buys the property without notice, or it is subsequently resold to another who paid value but had notice, the beneficiary cannot claim it.
