Spermatozoa Selection for Cattle IVF by 20Nurlena duhe is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study evaluated two methods of selecting and capacitating cattle sperm using Percoll gradient for in vitro fertilization and embryo production. Oocytes were matured in vitro and fertilized with motile sperm selected by Percoll gradient with either 2 ml or 0.5 ml layers per gradient. Embryos were cultured until the blastocyst stage. Cleavage rates, morula formation, and blastocyst rates were higher with 0.5 ml layers compared to 2 ml layers, indicating the 0.5 ml method is best for in vitro production o
