What is Yeoman Bontrup Fire Incident Report about?

On July 2, 2010, a fire broke out on the bulk carrier Yeoman Bontrup while undergoing repairs at Glensanda Quarry in Scotland. The fire started in a cargo conveyor belt due to hot fragments from welding repairs falling in the conveyor. The fire spread quickly through open doors and hatches, eventually causing an explosion that destroyed parts of the ship. The crew fought the fire but were forced to abandon ship when it grew out of control.
