What is Saint Cyril on Virgin Mary about?

Saint Cyril of Alexandria defends the title of Mother of God for the Virgin Mary, arguing that since Jesus Christ is God, His mother must also hold this title. He references the teachings of the Holy Fathers and Scripture to affirm the dual nature of Christ as both divine and human. Cyril emphasizes that Mary bore the Word of God made flesh, thus establishing her significant role in salvation history.
