What is EU Funding for Greece about?

The European Union provides financial support to Greece through several funds to help manage the refugee crisis and secure external borders. These include the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and Internal Security Fund. Over €480 million in emergency assistance has been allocated since 2015, in addition to €561 million under national programs for 2014-2020.
