This project presentation introduces a study on treating leachate using activated carbon synthesized from waste materials. The objectives are to select low-cost materials for making activated carbon adsorbents and using them to treat leachate in batch tests. Fish scales, corn cobs, and chicken feathers will be converted to activated carbon and used to treat leachate that was pretreated with plant-derived nanoparticles.
