About this document

Salt Spray Corrosion of Polymer Coating by rifkifirdaus is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study examines the salt spray corrosion of polymer coatings on steel substrates. Steel samples were sandblasted, chemically cleaned, and treated with phosphoric acid for varying time periods. The samples were then coated with epoxy-polyester layers of varying thicknesses and cured. The samples underwent salt spray corrosion testing in a 5% NaCl solution for over 2000 hours at 100% humidity and 35°C. The polymer coating was found to increase corrosion resistance of the steel substrate the most for sampl
