What is Broiler Litter Storage Techniques Guide about?

This document discusses best practices for storing broiler litter. It recommends storing litter under covered structures on concrete slabs with sides to prevent spillage. Litter should be stored in well-draining locations away from roads, neighbors and water sources. Wood structures require pressure treatment while steel must be galvanized to prevent corrosion from gases in the litter. Litter quality degrades if uncovered, so stacking and covering piles with plastic is recommended for longer term storage.
