This study investigated the progression of atopic dermatitis (AD)-like skin lesions in mice exposed repeatedly to ovalbumin (OVA). Mice were exposed to OVA or saline patches weekly for 3 weeks, with 2-week resting periods between exposures. Skin biopsies and blood were taken after each exposure week. Results showed progressively thicker skin and increased dermal inflammatory cell infiltration over time with OVA exposure.
