Father Paul visited Estonia and attended services at the Cathedral of St Alexander Nevsky in Tallinn belonging to the Moscow Patriarchate. He also visited churches in Tartu including the site where Bishop Platon of Reval and two priests were martyred by communists in 1919 for continuing to serve the Orthodox Church. Though their sacrifice is barely recognized in Estonia today, their faithful witness encourages Christians facing persecution.
