This document analyzes tomato production costs and labor productivity in Turkey. It finds that the minimum unit production cost is 0.10-0.11 YTL/kg for industrial tomatoes and 0.16 YTL/kg for table tomatoes in Eskisehir. Production costs are highest in Antalya at 0.45 YTL/kg due to greenhouse cultivation. Labor productivity is highest in Bursa and Antalya and lowest in Balikesir. The study uses survey data from Turkish provinces to determine and compare production structures and costs.
