What is Live at Five about?
Live At Five is a hilarious romp through the world of small town TV news. Hunter Riley is a washed up network news correspondent who finds himself running the news operation at KDOA-TV in Bakersfield, California. When the station owner threatens to fire the staff and replace the news with reruns of The Brady Bunch, Hunter hires a stripper from a topless club to be his co-anchor and manufactures a crisis at an old folks home. What follows is a comical clash of love, lust and questionable ethics in a desperate attempt to save KDOA news from the ratings scrap heap.
