This study investigates the relationship between smartphone use, nomophobia, and academic achievement among 950 Vietnamese high school students. Findings indicate a high prevalence of nomophobia (99.9%), particularly among females and older students, with significant correlations between nomophobia and smartphone usage patterns. The research highlights the need for further exploration and interventions to promote responsible smartphone use to mitigate its negative impact on academic performance.
