This document summarizes a study that tested modifications to trammel net construction to increase catches. Three trammel net constructions were tested: a control net (TK) with two outer net layers and slackness only at the bottom; treatment net 1 (TP1) with one outer layer and one pocket; and treatment net 2 (TP2) with one outer layer and two pockets. Trial fishing was conducted in Lontar, Serang. All three net constructions caught the same 10 species. TP2 caught 1,168 individuals, 1.29 times more than TP1
