The Bangladesh Freight Forwarders Association (BAFFA) has announced a revision of the Delivery Order Fee (D/O Fee) and Destination Service Charge (DSC) for import shipments, effective September 1, 2022, due to rising operational costs. The maximum D/O fee will be Tk.5,500 per HAWB/HBL, with additional charges for multiple containers and a split fee structure for co-loaders. Members are instructed to comply with these new charges and collect VAT as mandated by the government.
