This thesis presents work on developing dependency parsers for Swiss German dialects using cross-lingual techniques. The thesis explores applying lexicalized annotation projection and delexicalized model transfer approaches, using the closely related Standard German as a source language. A parallel corpus of 26,015 sentences was created by crowdsourcing Standard German translations of Swiss German sentences.
