Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) and Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) were established to provide agricultural credit and services to farmers in Bangladesh. BKB was originally established as the Agriculture Development Bank of Pakistan and was renamed after independence. RAKUB was later carved out of BKB to serve the Rajshahi Division.
