A patient presented with an upper eyelid cyst. The diagnosis was a hidrocystoma, which is a dermal cyst lined by cuboidal ductal epithelium of a sweat gland containing fluid rather than keratin. The type of epithelial cells lining the cyst can suggest whether it originated from an eccrine or apocrine sweat gland.
