What is DGA Software for Transformer Monitoring about?
This document presents a computer-based software for monitoring the condition of oil-immersed power transformers using dissolved gas-in-oil analysis (DGA). The software implements five diagnostic methods (Key Gas, Dornenburg, Rogers, IEC and Duval Triangle) and stores DGA data in a MySQL database. It was developed using Python programming language. The software accurately diagnosed faults in over 90% of 50 test samples using the Duval Triangle method by comparing to other studies.
