What is Jyotirao Phule: Caste Reform Advocate about?

Jyotirao Phule was a 19th century social reformer from Maharashtra who founded schools for girls and low caste students. He criticized the Hindu caste system as fabricated by Brahmins to exploit lower castes. Phule asserted that Brahmins were not indigenous but foreign Aryans who conquered native people and imposed the caste hierarchy. He advocated for unity among lower castes and proposed solutions like irrigation projects to address rural poverty and the agricultural crisis under British rule.
