What is Aloe Vera about?

The study investigated the antimicrobial activity of Aloe vera extracts using different solvents against pathogenic bacteria. Ethyl acetate and ethanol extracts showed the highest antimicrobial activity with inhibition zones between 1-12 mm against bacteria like B. subtilis, S. aureus, E. coli, K. pneumoniae, and P. aeruginosa. Petroleum ether extracts had the lowest inhibitory effect of only 2 mm. The study also estimated minerals in fresh Aloe vera juice using atomic absorption spectroscopy.
