About this document
Virtual Source Seismology for Mineral Exploration by Tedi is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study evaluates the feasibility of using passive seismic interferometry to explore mineral deposits in the Lalor Lake area, Canada, by analyzing 300 hours of ambient noise data. The results indicate that while the method can partly image shallowly dipping reflections, its image quality is lower compared to active seismic surveys. Recommendations for future studies include longer noise records and improved survey configurations to enhance the effectiveness of passive seismic methods in crystalline rock
