Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Germany, and studied at the Luitpold Gymnasium before graduating from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in 1900. He published his first article in 1901, became a professor in 1911, and won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1922, among other accolades. Einstein had three children, divorced his first wife in 1914, married his cousin Elsa, and passed away on April 18, 1955, in Princeton, New Jersey.
