What is P104 Hypofractionated radiotherapy in triple negative breast cancer: Does molecular subtype impact radiotherapy outcomes ? about?
The aim of our study was to evaluate acute skin toxicity of ultra-hypofractionated 5 fractions in one-week radiotherapy (RT), after breast conservative surgery Methods: After a multi-institutional consensus under the framework of Tunisian Radiotherapy Society developed to guide patient selection, we included patients with Tis, T1-T3 invasive BC, pN0, age ≥ 50 years, with conservative surgery to be treated with 3D conformal RT to the breast (26 Gy in 5 daily fractions of 5.2 Gy). An additional boost to the tumor bed (10 Gy in 5 daily fractions of 2 Gy) was delivered in patients aged <60 years. Breast volume was measured in cubic centimeters (cm 3 ); a ''small'' volume was assigned to breast volumes 1000 cm 3 . Acute toxicity was assessed using CTCAE (common toxicity criteria for adverse events) scale. Evaluation of acute skin toxicity was obtained 2 weeks after the completion of radiotherapy. Results: From March 2022 to September 2022, 44 patients were included. The median age was 60 years . Eighteen patients (41%) received additional boost to the tumor bed. Luminal B molecular subtype was observed in 54% of cases and 55% received adjuvant chemotherapy. Concurrent trastuzumab was a
