This study aimed to determine the English language proficiency of grade 12 students at Subangdaku Technical Vocational High School. A sample of 31 students completed tests of grammar and reading comprehension that found moderate proficiency levels. Females slightly outperformed males, and students in the HUMMS strand had the highest grammar scores. The study found significant differences in proficiency by gender and strand. It recommends further research into factors impacting students
