This case report describes a 51-year-old woman who experienced pure menstrual migraines with sensory aura exclusively during her menstrual period in her peri-menopausal years. Before menopause, she would experience numbness in her left arm that would spread before developing migraines on the first day of her period. After menopause, her migraines changed and no longer included aura symptoms. This is believed to be the first reported case of pure menstrual migraine with aura. The authors suggest her migraine
