This project report details the design of a controller for a magnetorheological (MR) damper and its implementation in a half car model to improve vehicle suspension performance. The study utilizes the Bingham model for MR dampers and compares two control algorithms, ON-OFF skyhook and fuzzy logic, to enhance ride quality by reducing pitch and improving mass displacement. Results indicate that the semi-active suspension system outperforms the passive suspension model in terms of vehicle dynamics.
