What is Drilling Rig Specifications Overview about?
EDC Rig 86 is a 500 HP carrier-mounted workover rig built in 2005 with the ability to drill to 12,000 feet. It has 118 foot mast, 135 ton hookload, 1 1/8 inch drilling line, and is powered by two Caterpillar D-3406 diesel engines. The rig is equipped with 11 inch x 3,000 psi annular and double BOPs, 3 1/8 inch x 5,000 psi choke and kill manifold, and 4 station 3,000 psi accumulator with 80 gallon bottle. It can store 250 bbls of mud and has capacity for 12 persons at the camp.
