What is Summary of Rizal about?
Rizal was born in Calamba, Laguna in 1861 to well-educated parents. He showed intellectual gifts from a young age, being able to read and write by age 5 and writing poetry by age 8. He graduated from Ateneo Municipal de Manila with honors in 1877. He then studied medicine at the University of Santo Tomas but had to drop out due to discrimination against Filipino students.
