1. Mary Barnett, a white servant in Virginia in 1728, confessed to having children with enslaved African men. Her children, including Dinah, Cloe, Sawny, and Doll Burnett, were ordered bound out in 1751. 2. Dinah Burnett, born around 1738, sued her former master in 1759. She had several children, including William, Frankly, Charles, Angela, and Edith. 3. Sawny Burnett, born around 1745, purchased land in North Carolina in 1770. He headed a household there and may have been the father of Aaron.
