What is RFoF Solutions for Radio Astronomy about?

The document presents a prototype Radio-Frequency-over-Fiber (RFoF) link designed for the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME), which aims to map the distribution of neutral hydrogen in the universe. The RFoF link utilizes a directly modulated Fabry-Perot laser and demonstrates advantages over traditional coaxial cables, such as cost-effectiveness and reduced electromagnetic interference. The study characterizes the RFoF
