What is Barrett Why Behaviorism Isn about?

The chapter discusses the evolution of comparative evolutionary psychology, highlighting the tension between cognitivism and behaviorism. It argues that contemporary psychology has largely embraced a cognitivist framework while neglecting behaviorist principles, which are unjustly criticized. The author suggests that a more integrated view of cognition, which acknowledges the relationship between the organism and its environment, could benefit the field.
