This paper proposes a new maze exploration algorithm based on a fungal search algorithm (FSA). The proposed maze exploration fungal search algorithm (MEFSA) was tested using randomly generated 100 cell mazes. Results indicate that the MEFSA can successfully be applied to solve mazes.
