About this document
Definition of Levocardia by J Venkat Ramana Naidu is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Levocardia is the normal heart position with the apex pointing left, seen in normal anatomy or with situs inversus. Dextrocardia is when the heart is on the right side, with two types: one where all organs are mirrored and one where only the heart is reversed. X-ray features differ, with levocardia showing a leftward apex and heart shadow, while dextrocardia shows a rightward apex and shadow.
