Bedele, also known as Buno Bedele, is a town in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia with a population of 19,517 as of the 2007 census, predominantly consisting of ethnic Oromo. The town has historical significance, having been the capital of Ras Tessema Nadew in the early 1900s and is home to the Bedele Brewery, established in 1993 and acquired by Heineken in 2011. Bedele features a cultural center and a technical college, reflecting its development over the years.
