What is Understanding the Role of Babalawos about?

The document describes the role of the Babalawos or priests of Ifá in the Yoruba religion. The Babalawos are priests who can predict the future by consulting Orunmila through the divination system of Ifá. They serve as spiritual consultants who assist individuals in finding their destiny and spiritual path. They must be extensively trained in the sacred texts of Ifá and act as moral examples for the community.
