What is Revised Dearness Allowance Order 2024 about?

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an order to revise the Dearness Allowance for Pensioners and Family Pensioners to 50% of Basic Pension effective from January 1, 2024. Arrears for the additional installment will be paid in May 2024 and included in monthly pensions thereafter. Other existing provisions regarding Dearness Allowance remain in effect.
