What is Trichoderma spp. for Plant Disease Control about?

This study isolated 27 Trichoderma isolates from soil samples collected in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The isolates were tested for their ability to inhibit the plant pathogens Rhizoctonia solani and Sclerotium rolfsii using dual culture assays. Isolate BM-4(ii) showed the highest inhibition (88%) of S. rolfsii while isolate BG-3(ii) showed the highest inhibition (88.88%) of R. solani.
