About this document
Bacteria Growth on Door Handles Study by Amitej Babra is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Our goal was to discover how bacteria levels on door handles are affected by usage levels and temperature. We collected bacteria samples from four handles - a closet (least used), two interior doors, and the front door (most used). The front door had the fewest colonies despite most use, while the busiest interior handle had the most. We concluded that temperature, not usage, best explained these results, as the front door was coolest and bacteria grow less in colder temperatures.
