Can I read Hydrochloric Acid Absorption Process on EtoBox?
Hydrochloric Acid Absorption Process by CésarSánchezRosas is a document available to read on EtoBox.
What is Hydrochloric Acid Absorption Process about?
This document describes a process for absorbing hydrochloric acid gas using ambient air cooling. Hydrochloric acid gas is produced from salt and sulfuric acid, then cooled. It flows to an absorption tower to produce a concentrated acid solution. The gas then flows to a second tower where ambient air is introduced to cool the gas and enable absorption of a dilute acid solution. No additional cooling is needed for the second tower. The amount of air introduced can be adjusted to maintain exit gas temperatures
