The Bank of Russia has accredited a representation office of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) in Moscow, attended by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. BIDV is a key player in the financial dialogue between Russia and Vietnam and participates in a pilot project for bilateral settlements in national currencies. The opening of this office is seen as a significant step in enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
